How to Spot a Fake Coach Bag

Fake COACH bags are a little hard to spot. If you are considering on buying a Coach bag from a questionable source, the best way would to go to the Coach website and take a look at the real thing or even go into a reputable store that carries Coach products.
GENERAL THINGS TO LOOK FOR:
Stitching Quality
Pay attention to little detail such as the quality of the stitching. If the stitching looks sloppy, off line, overlapping or glued its not real.
Zippers
Coach also uses the best hardware like the zippers. The brand stamp on the zippers should be "YKK" if you dont see the "YKK then you know its not a real Coach Bag. Coach bags were made about 75% of the time in the US as of 2002,now most of them are made in China but if it says made in Korea then its not a real Coach Bag.
Things to look for in the Signature Coach Collection
Signature C's
The easiest way in determining authenticity would be to exam the layout of the signature C's. The signature C's should be lined up perfectly to the center. The tip of the "C" facing the other "C" should be touching. The seams should go straight down through the middle of the CC's, and the pattern should be aligned horizontally and vertically. Some bags look like they have two C's but really are G's so if someone is selling you a Coach bag with the G you know for sure its not the real thing. Look at the inner lining is there a signature Coach logo? if so the CC should be touching like the outside.
Coach uses logo tags that are attached to a beaded chain. The tag should match the trim of the bag.and the word Coach should be raised not inprinted.
Coach bags have a serial number stamped on the inside on a square patch of leather sewn into the lining.

I bought one on ebay an loved it. It is real
Im really wanting to know if my purse is real, but Im not sure considering my aunt bought it for me. But I dont think its real because the zipper has a W on it. not ykk or kky-whatever it was. :(
Most higher end department stores like Macy's have a Coach kiosk inside the store. You can always take the bag to the ladies who work there and they will 9 times out of ten be able to tell you whether the bag is real or fake. Also, try to match the serial number to the Coach Drill Down page

AFTER CHRISTMAS MY NEICE WHO I GAVE A COACH BAG TO CALLED AND SAID I LOVE MY COACH BAG BUT AUNT LEE I HOPE YOU DIDN'T PAY TO MUCH FOR IT BECAUSE ITS A FAKE.

i still cant tell with the c's it still lookin a like but my purse have the patch with the serail numbers no ykk on the zipper is real or fake
the zippers on my purse which i purchased a couple of weeks ago say "coach" and everything looks fairly real, i doubt that it is though. On the front it has this metal wagon thing that says 'coach' as well....but that is part of the logo, i just havent seen in on many of their products....
should at least one seam match? i read that coach has good quality and take their times in having all the seams match up with the next C. what if none of the seams match? is it fake

http://www.coachfactory-online.net doesn't look legit to me. All of the designs for the Signature C's seem to be off center, and the price tags are never displayed on/with the hangtag.

please nobody buy from. HTTP://www.coachfactory-online.net they are super fake, the only online place to buy the original is www.coachfactory.com type in exactly like that and it will take you to the official coach factory online buy you need to register so you can get an invitation.
